William (Bill) Jay Tackett Jr. lived in St. George, Utah. Bill passed away May 27th 2015 at the age of 46. He was born November 19th 1968 in Las Vegas, NV to parents, William Jay Tackett Sr. and Renon Chynoweth Gibson. Bill went to Fay Galloway elementary school, Brookholder Jr High, and Basic High School in Henderson, NV, graduating in 1988. Bill enlisted in the Air Force May 22, 1991 and was medically retired August 27, 1998. He was stationed in Alaska, Colorado, and South Dakota before his retirement. After retiring Bill moved to AZ with his family. They stayed in Arizona for a few years before deciding to move back to his hometown, Henderson. While in Henderson Bill met Reneé and they were married on February 14th 2015. Bill and Reneé moved to St. George Utah in June of 2014. Bill was an incredible artist and creationist. He could draw, mold, or create amazing things. He loved the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting, and shooting his guns. Bill traveled but never on an extravagant vacation to a foreign land. All he needed was Utah and a dirt road to discover something new and amazing. Bill hated contention and loved the peacefulness nature had to offer. Often times he spent time alone camping in the mountains to get solace. Bill emanated that solace in peace in his interactions with others. Bill is survived by his wife, Reneé Tackett of St. George, Utah; Sheena Meyers and Jade Antoinette Tackett of Rapid City, South Dakota; and Kylie Tackett of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchild Link Hunter Curry of Rapid City, South Dakota; Mother Renon Chynoweth-Gibson and Dad Robert Spendlove Gibson of St. George, Utah; Father William Jay Tackett Sr. and Mother Julianne Tackett of Fallan, Nevada; Sister Shelby Lynn Tackett-Thorn and husband Edward Preston Thorn of St. George, Utah; Nephews Zachery Thorn, Dakota Thorn and Bryce Thorn of St. George, Utah; Son Matthew Stickel; Daughter Tiffany Stickel.
