Wendell Blain Palmer

Wendell Palmer passed away on October 18th at the age of 77 at home in the loving care of his wife. He was born in Kanab Utah to Ray Joseph and Melba Pugh Palmer. He was the last child of 7. He was involved in the 4H and raised sheep. He always loved animals and the outdoors.  He served in the armed forces and that's where he learned the love of travel and to cook well. He then met and married Vicki Lynn Hunt on November 22,1967 in the St. George temple. He was the amazing father of 5, 2 of which he joined in heaven. He was a great farmer and a hard worker and always had a strong faith in the church. He enjoyed working hard and treating others with kindness. He loved music and looking at the scenery. He loved the mountains and the fresh air. He is survived by his wife Vicki, daughter Wendy, son Brandon(Joelle) and daughter Jessica, also 6 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren. Brothers Elgin, Robert, and Delbert, and  sisters Helen Macphang and Donna Caine. 

Services will be held on Friday October 20, 2017 at the Gunlock church. A viewing will be held from 10 -11:30 am,  with the funeral from 12-1 pm. Interment will be immediately after the service in the Gunlock cemetery followed by a luncheon afterwards at the church.
