Wanda Bastian Buhecker

Wanda B. Buhecker beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great
Grandmother passed away peacefully at home Thursday 2/17/2022 at the age of 101.
 
Wanda was born in Washington Fields, Utah 5/22/1920. She married Frederick A. Buhecker and
moved to Salt Lake City. They celebrated 50 years together before Frederick succumbed to
cancer. They raised three daughters Karen Marie, Patricia Lynn and Leslie Jo.  
 
At age 75 Wanda had a log cabin built up Six Mile Canyon where she lived for over 20 years. 
Wanda was not only a crafter and artist; she was a teacher.  She passed down to four generations
her love of arrowhead and rock hunting, her love of baking especially pies and bread. Wanda
was a fierce competitor-playing cards, fishing, bowling or anything else she chose to endeavor.
Her one-liners and sense of humor were appreciated by all that knew her.
 
We cherished her while she lived and will forever keep her in our hearts.
