Walter Maine Lounsbury

With deep sorrow and warm memories, we bid farewell to Walter Lounsbury, who graced this world on August 25, 1960, and embraced the final stage of his journey on May 23, 2023.

Walter was a man of many talents, including but not limited to being funny, creative, talented, and witty – essentially, the life of any party. A software engineer by trade, he spent his years coding through the tech world, occasionally taking breaks to play guitar, watch movies, or hustle unsuspecting victims at pool. Happiness and good times with friends and family were his modus operandi, and he truly prided himself in his work – never missing an opportunity to show it off to everyone within earshot or eyeshot.

Throughout his extraordinary journey, Walter assumed a multitude of roles, but none as cherished as that of a loving father. He reveled in infusing excitement into every aspect of his children's lives. In his final bow, Walter leaves behind a loving family: his children, Jacob, Lyndsey, Joshua, Keira, Lorelei, and Wyatt, along with his grandchildren, Sydney, Elizabeth, and William. He is also survived by his stepmother, Rebecca Lounsbury, who continues to share her love and support with the family. Among his siblings, Walter is survived by Debbie, Donna, Rebecca, Misty, and Wesley, who will forever cherish their memories of him. He joins his parents, Everett and Ruth, and his sister Dawn, in eternal rest, reunited in a realm where their love endures forever.

Here's to you, Walter – may the afterlife be filled with laughter, pool tables, and endless guitar solos.
