Tyson Gillespie

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved son, father & brother, Tyson Gillespie.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Jan. 2, 2024.
 
He was born in St. George, Utah on July 21, 1984, to Jerry & Pamela Read Gillespie. Tyson lived most of his life in Ivins, Utah.
He lived on the edge of town and grew-up with plenty of room to roam the area. He would climb the Red Hill, ride horses, play and feed the chickens and drive go carts.
 
He enjoyed baseball, soccer & the boy Scouts. He attended Snow Canyon High School.
 
He Married Billyjo Jergins in 2005 and they had one son, Kayleb. Tyson Loved his son dearly. They later divorced.
 
Tyson worked for 2 concrete cutting companies, a Traffic Control Company and in Construction this last year with his dad.
He was very talented and creative. He had many skills. Anything he set his mind to he could accomplish. He loved welding, Electrical, Construction work & working in his garage on projects. He loved to fix up his cars and trucks and was willing to help others with theirs. He loved to ride his motorcycle around the area.
 
Tyson Died way too soon and way too young!
 
Tyson is preceded in death by Ryan J Gillespie, his brother.
 
Survived by: Parents, Jerry & Pamela Read Gillespie, Sisters, Stephanie Hunt, Angela Joy, Crystal Sullivan, Natalie Bender & Rochelle Cooley, Nieces, Nephews, Aunt Uncles and Cousins.
 
A viewing will be held at Hughes Mortuary on Friday, January 12 from 9:00 to 10:30, immediately followed by a Graveside service at the Toquerville Cemetery. 
 
Arrangements are under the direction of Hughes Mortuary.
