Tim Edwards

Tim Edwards was born on September 24, 1 960 in Wadena, Minnesota. His parents were the late Raymond and Irene (Kaufman) Edwards. The Edwards family moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1966 and enjoyed returning to New York Mills, Minnesota every summer. Tim graduated from Yuma High School with the Class of 1978. On June 23, 1979 Tim was united in marriage to Robin Crawford at the First Southern Baptist Church in Yuma, Arizona. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters. Tim was employed at a hog farm, installing  septic systems and as a government trapper. Tim and Robin made their home in St. George, Utah where he was employed at Western Rock before being employed with the City of St. George for 18 years. Tim and Robin moved to New York Mills, Minnesota in September of 2013. Tim was employed with Lausten Construction. He enjoyed being a cowboy, horseshoeing, gardening, 4-wheeling, taking the dogs for a run, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed going  for drives, looking for deer, taking naps, making up random songs and especially loved his grandchildren.  On March 31, 2015 Tim passed away surround by his loving family at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota at 54 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Tim in death were his parents; and nephews: Chris and Justin.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Robin; daughters: Amy (Matt) Smith; Shelley (Mike) Rarick; and Laura (Travis) Thompson; 5 grandchildren: Logan, Alyssa, Trevin Cahill, Brody Timothy, Journey Rae; and one on the way (Timberlyn); Sisters: Carol (Ben) Boggs; Cindy (Bob) Carey; brothers: Doug (Gale) Edwards; Phil (Claudia) Edwards; Tom (Melanie) Edwards; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 11, 2015 with a gathering of family and friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. , both at the LDS chapel located at 176 East Center Street in Veyo, Utah.  Please visit our website at www.heidemanhughesmortuary.com for condolences and complete obituary listing.
