Timothy Arlon Burrows returned home to the arms of his loving Heavenly Father on Friday September 30, 2016. He was born September 28th 1959 in Newhall, California to Gayle Jones and Gerald Burrows. He was blessed to have spent time in the loving homes of the Jones and Christiansen families in Enoch, Utah. He graduated from Cedar City High School class of 1977. He married Terri Jolley and they have spent 37 years together. Tim and Terri had 5 wonderful children, and have 14 grandchildren, with 1 more coming in January 2017. Tim’s kids and grandkids were the love of his life. He was known for his lifelong work ethic as a USPS employee while running his own landscaping business. His Heaven on earth was the great outdoors; spending any chance he could fishing, camping, hunting, and taking his family to the mountain. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with a strong testimony of the scriptures, service, family, and he had a strong relationship with his Heavenly Father. He will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh and being a prankster. He was an inspiring vocalist who sang from his heart in a way that moved all who heard him. Tim was one who was firm in principal and truth. His family was his priority and he was an actively involved father, coach, role model, and friend. Tim will forever be remembered and loved. He is now having a great reunion with his son Jason, daughter-in-law Cassie, and his mother. He is survived by his wife Terri, children Brett and Elise, Brandon, Dustin and Trit, Tiffinie and Jeremy Vogel, his grandchildren, his father Gerald Burrows, Siblings Craig , Scott, Robert, Jackie and Maria. A Viewing will be held Tuesday Oct 4th from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday Oct 5th from 9:30-10:30 am, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 am. All services will be held at the LDS Chapel located at 930 S. Morningside Drive in St. George.
