Terri Lynne Staheli

June 1, 1948 — December 12, 2024

Enterprise, UT

Terri Staheli, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 12th, 2024, at the age of 76, after a courageous three-month battle with melanoma. She was born on June 1, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Betty Jean and Richard Leon Hatcher.

Terri's early years were shaped by her father's career in the Navy, which led the family to live on the island of Yap and in various other locations around the world. She spent much of her teenage life in Chicago, Illinois, and carried with her the worldly experiences that would influence her warm and adventurous spirit.

Terri had a deep love of reading and worked as a librarian for many years, a career that allowed her to share her passion for literature with others. She was also an avid crafter, enjoying activities like knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Her creativity extended to the kitchen, where she delighted in preparing large meals for her family, often welcoming extra guests — human and animal alike. She was known for her generosity, always ready to feed a stray who wandered by, and for her love of animals. While her husband, Norman, might not have shared her enthusiasm for bringing home every stray dog or cat, he understood the depth of her compassion.

Terri is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Norman LeRoy Staheli; her five children: Michael Leon Staheli (Shan Shan), Collin Staheli (Sharlene Staheli), Samantha (Del) Woolsey, Tasha (Jay) Lovewell, and Krisanda (AJ) Hall; and her cherished grandchildren: Kyler and Tyren Woolsey, Dainian and Aryanna Lovewell, Jesse Snow, and Tate and Arden Hall. She is also survived by her aunt, Donna McCallister, and many extended family members and friends.

Services will be held at the Enterprise, Utah 7th Ward Chapel. Viewing will be at 9:30 am Wednesday December 18th followed by funeral services at 11:00. Services are provided by Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E 700 S, Saint George UT, 84790, 435-674-5000.

Terri’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her — her warmth, generosity, and boundless love for her family and animals will be missed but never forgotten.
