Stella Madson

Stella Graymountain Madson, 57, past away peacefully Saturday June 22, 2019. She was a long time resident of Arizona but had recently moved to St George, Utah.
Our mother was born on May 14, 1962 in Tuba City, Arizona and then raised in Cedar Ridge, Arizona. Stella is the eighth child of 13 children to the late Katie Wah and late Jake Graymountain. She started her schooling at a boarding school located in Tuba City, Arizona and then went on to finish in South Severe High Schoool in Monroe, Utah, class of 1981. Stella had the pleasure to explore job options throughout her life in Utah and Arizona but her main accomplishment and hardworking job was raising her six children alone.
Stella's interests included her favorite of being outdoors, and with daily walks and traveling to family and friends' homes. Our Mother loved to do anything with her kids and grandkids. Stella's favorite time of the year was football season as she enjoyed watching the Steeler's play football. She was a great fan and loved to scream, cheer, and laugh during these games. Stella also loved this time of year because of Thanksgiving and Christmas because it meant more family time to her.
