Simone was born in Nuremberg, Germany on July 22, 1960 and was found deceased on April 14, 2021. She was born to the parents of Archie Searle and Marion Stanton. Simone married Michael Seitz on March 21, 1981 in Vallejo, CA. They were married 19 years and together had a daughter, Krystal.
Simone was a beloved mother and nana. She was a generous and kind friend to all with an infectious smile often found helping, volunteering, and giving even when she had little herself. She went to cosmetology school in San Francisco, CA and worked as a hairdresser for 25 years. Although she had a career doing hair, she would say that motherhood was her greatest calling in life. All who knew her knew of her great love for her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Simone loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed crafting with her grandchildren, nature, gardening, coloring and putting smiles on loved ones and strangers faces with sincere compliments.
Simone was well traveled due to a father in the military. She lived in Germany, California, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Georgia then back to Germany for high school. She then went back to California, Idaho, and her final home state of Utah.
She fought a hard battle with mental illness for so long and is now free from her struggles and pain.
Simone is survived by her daughter Krystal (Patrick Wright); grandchildren Braden, Travis and Ashlynn; her sister Roxann Grumm; two brothers Floyd and Michael Searle. She is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Marion Searle; and sister Coleen Bishop.
Funeral services will be Monday April 19 at 11:00 am at 70 South 300 West La Verkin, UT 84780. Interment will take place at the Washington City cemetery.
