Shambray Whitney Johnson, 31 years old, passed away suddenly and tragically on
09/15/2020.
She was born to Heather May Smith-Johnson 6/25/1971–10/16/2007 and Jamie
Lee Johnson 11-07-1966 on 02/03/1989 in St. George, Utah.
She is leaving behind her two beautiful children, Jocelyn Ray Fonseca (13y/o) and
Terrance Lee Carrington (11y/o).
Shambray grew up in the Dixie area of Southern Utah, she enjoyed time with her
only sibling and brother Braydon and her beloved mother, Heather. She was
always surrounded by loving family, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles,
and cousins etc.
Shambray gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Jocelyn Ray Fonseca on
05/25/2007, She married Terrell Carrington 07/31/2009 they went on to have a
beautiful baby boy, Terrence Lee Carrington on 02/08/2010.
Shambray was extremely proud of herself for achieving her goals in nursing. She
was a dedicated CNA and was working towards furthering her education as an
LPN.
She loved her children unconditionally, being a mother was her number one love
and priority.
Shambray enjoyed trips hiking and to the lake with her babies. She was always
kind and loving, going above and beyond. She was a friend to everyone; she had a
heart of gold and was always flaunting her beautiful smile.
Shambray is survived by her Father Jaime Lee Johnson (St. George), Grandparents,
Carolyn Mae Smith (Hurricane, Utah), Ray Jonson (Richfield, Utah) and Cindy
Johnson (Richfield, Utah). Her brother Braydon Bradshaw (St. George, Utah), and
sister Ellie Johnson of (Washington, Utah) and her beloved children Jocelyn Ray
Fonseca and Terrance Lee Johnson (Hurricane, Utah).
Shambray was proceeded in death by her Mother Heather May Smith,
Grandfather, Gary Smith, and Grandmother Wanda Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19 th , 2020 at 5 p.m. at
344 N 90 E Hurricane, Utah 84737. We will have time for whoever would like to
speak followed by a dinner and balloon release in remembrance of Shambray. We
would love if all guests could wear something to honor Shammy, whether it be
purple, Steelers fan gear or something with butterflies, all her favorite things.
