Scott Durfey, born on October 29, 1982, departed this world on May 1, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and passion that touched the lives of many.
Scott was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Jacci and a doting father to his son Max and step daughter Mia. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
As a police officer, Scott found fulfillment in serving his community. He dedicated himself to helping others, embodying the true essence of selflessness and compassion.
In 2023, Scott embarked on a new journey by founding his own excavation company. Yet, his true passion was horses. Scott found solace and joy in the presence of horses. Whether he was training them or riding alongside his wife and friends, his love for horses knew no bounds.
An enthusiast of cowboy poetry, Scott often recited verses during his long horseback rides. His admiration for the cowboy way of life resonated deeply within him, adding a poetic touch to his adventures.
Above all, Scott's greatest joy was supporting his son Max in his various sporting endeavors. He took pride in being Max's biggest cheerleader and mentor, instilling in him values of perseverance and dedication.
Though Scott may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Jacci, his son Max, step daughter Mia, his mom Sherry, siblings Gary (LeAnn), Michael (Sharon), Roger (Tina), Dennis (Angela), Vicki (Marty), Cody. Preceeded in death by his father Scott.
