Sandra O. McGinty

Sandy Died August 3, 2023 at home with loved ones. She was 85 years old, Born March 26th, 1938 in Salt Lake City to William Elmer Mark Jr. and Alice Wade.

She Attended South High School. She worked in the bakery department at Albertsons for a number of years in Salt Lake and St. George. After retiring from there she went to work as a hostess at Denny's on Bluff. She always talked about going back to work if she could.

She married James Mcginty August 27th, 1973 and they were married for 46 years until his passing in 2019. Sandy was a very selfless, caring and giving person to her family, friends and friends that were like family.

Survived by Children: Patricia (Michael), Julie, David(Jimmy), Scott, Shawn, Michelle, Sue. and her Sister Connie.  28 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great GrandChildren with 1 on the way. 

Preceded in death by Husband James, Her Mother and Father, Brothers LeLand and Lawrence, Sisters Joyce and Norma and Son Todd.

The Family would like to Thank all the Great and loving care that she received from Dixie Hospice and Dr. Gulbransen. Also a Huge debt of gratitude to Michelle for her care and devotion to Mom.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday August 12 at 11:00 am at Log Lane LDS Chapel, 115 West 2000 South, Washington Fields, Utah
