Rosemary Hatch Millet, our sweet and radiant wife and mother, passed away February 12, 2020. She was born February 4, 1956 in Provo, Utah to Noal and Lillian Hatch. She married DeLayne Howard Millet in the Provo Temple on May 21, 1976.
She was raised in Provo, Utah and graduated from Provo High School in 1974 and later attended Brigham Young University. Rosemary earned her Associates in Secretarial Administration. She was an amazing receptionist and reading tutor to many children who loved her. But most importantly, she was a dedicated homemaker and loved to bake homemade bread and delicious meals, create a warm atmosphere in both her decorative abilities and her expression of her faith and love for Jesus Christ. Rosemary was an extraordinary seamstress and quilter. She loved classical music and knew so much about composers and their lives and enjoyed singing the Handel's Messiah every Christmas with her husband. She had a passion for teaching the gospel and taught 4 years of early morning Seminary and taught Gospel Doctrine. She loved the ocean, the mountains, lighthouses, butterflies, poetry, and making people laugh, smile, and feel loved. She truly loved everyone whether she knew them or not. She lived the true nature of happiness and could create joy and fun in any circumstance.
She is survived by her husband, DeLayne, and her 4 children: Rochel Oleson, Shantil Randolph (Benjamin Randolph), Sheralyn Murphy (Taylor Murphy), and Gerrit Millet (Shawntae). She has 11 grandchildren. She is the youngest of 5 children: Her siblings are, Ron, Roger, Rebecca, and Robert.
The funeral viewing will be February 18th at 9:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Services are located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1500 Ridgeview Drive, Washington Utah 84780.
