Rosalina R Dela Cruz

Rosalina R Dela Cruz, 95, passed away Nov 29, 2023.  She was born January 17, 1928 in Manila, Philippines to parents Sixta Cruz Rivera and Bernabe Rivera.  

She was raised in Manila where she also married Florencio Dela Cruz on July 8, 1945. This marriage produced four children.  Rosalina was preceded in death by her two loves: Florencio Dela Cruz and Glen S Fontillas, and two grandsons Jeremy Hendricks and Alan Cho Dela Cruz. She is survived by her four children, son Romeo (Paula) of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Julie (Jim) Foster of St George, UT; daughter Virginia Dela Cruz of St George, UT, and son Del (Darlene) of Wahiawa, HI; as well as Glen Arthur Fontillas of Maui, HI; twelve grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Her favorite past-times were dancing, singing karaoke, coloring books, and reading. During her younger years, she also enjoyed crochet, embroidery and sewing dresses for her young daughters. Rosalina was very social, developing many friends who all loved her dearly.

Funeral services are pending.  She will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl), Honolulu, HI. Arrangements are made under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E 700 S, St George, UT, (435) 674-5000.
