Roger Humphries

Roger Humphries 77, passed away October 14, 2021. Roger was born March 15, 1944 in Hurricane, Utah to Afton Isom Humphries and Clara Spendlove. Roger married Gail Bowler and they were sealed in the St. George Temple on March 18, 1989.

Roger was raised in Hurricane, Utah along with eleven siblings. Roger worked for Washington County School District for 24 years. He loved the children and got to know each child well. Roger proudly served in the Utah National Guard.

Roger is survived by his wife Gail, children, Darin (Nikohle) of Cedar City, Utah, Brandon (Amber) of Enterprise, Utah, Trent (Jenny) of Tucson, Arizona, David of Gunlock, Utah, Denise (Roger) Reynolds of Whiterocks, Utah, along with 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Buck (Dawn), Marian (Glen) Starr, Bud (Sadie), Glenwood (Diane), Anita (Howard) Bringhurst, Craig (Ethelyn), Jim (Pam), Elva Roberts, and Lajuana (Ken) Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roy & Randy.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Gunlock LDS Chapel. Friends may call Saturday, October 16th 2021 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am.

Interment in the Gunlock Cemetery.
