Robin Dee Long

April 8, 1954 — January 19, 2025

Ivins, UT

It is with all our love and adoration that we announce the passing of our dear sweet mother, Robin Dee Long, who peacefully passed away at home at the age of 70 on January 19th, 2025, in Ivins, Utah. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Robin was born on April 8th, 1954, in Pasadena, California, to Richard and Katie Morgan. She often referred to herself as the middle child in a family of six siblings. Robin graduated from Covina High School. She spent her childhood in a faithful, loving home where she learned to be independent and a hard worker.

Robin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved to serve others. She was a great example of enduring to the end.

Robin was one of a kind! From her red convertible Datsun 1800 and 1974 Firebird to wearing a magenta headband while dancing at Beatlemania, to sending "talk text" messages that didn’t always come out as planned, to letting us know when the Lakers were playing, and playing her favorite music while working in the cafeteria. Robin was the biggest cheerleader at any event—from walking the sidelines at early Saturday morning soccer games to cheering on church basketball games. She loved competition.

Robin’s greatest joys were her three kids—oh, how we love you, Mom! We know you are no longer in pain, and we rejoice in that knowledge.

One of Robin’s favorite callings and loves was simply being Grandma Robin. She adored all her grandchildren, especially Ame, Little Katie, Pai Pai, Little Timmy, Mar Mar, Bridgey Dee, Grace, honorary granddaughter Landy, her great-grandson Simone, and so many others who felt her special touch. It was such a gift for her to live with her grandkids, building a bond that was truly one of a kind.

She is survived by her three children: Cliff (Letty) of La Habra, Tim (Elaine) of St. George, and Katie (Kelby) of Ivins. She is also deeply cherished by her siblings: sisters Priscilla (Gene), Dottie (Mike), June (Brad), and brothers Dick (Janet) and Andy (Eme), along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Grandma Katie and Grandad.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, at 11 a.m. at the Padre Canyon Building at 625 East Center Street, Ivins, Utah. Interment will take place at the Santa Clara Cemetery.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E. 700 S., St. George, Utah.
