Riley Bryan Lloyd

Riley Bryan Lloyd passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 5th, 2017 in St George, UT. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT, September 17, 1996. He is survived by his parents, Bryan Joseph Lloyd and Chantel Jessee, and his siblings Kalli Love and Caden Lloyd.

Riley was a FIGHTER! Born with Cerebral Palsy, he defied the odds every day of his life. While he was limited physically, he was abundant in his love for family, friends and many medical professionals.

Whatever Riley did, he did it with passion.  He was quick to laugh and blessed everyone with his big, contagious smile!

Riley graduated from Dixie High School, he conquered thousands of hours in physical therapy, and set the bar for being present and enjoying things he was passionate about.

Riley loved NASCAR -Tony Stewart was his favorite, and even when Tony retired, Riley continued to cheer for #14 -and anything to do with motorsports, construction equipment, or trains.

Riley was a dear, loving brother to his two siblings, Kalli and Caden. From putting on plays together to being towed behind Riley’s wheelchair, the three of them were inseparable.

Riley was an angel and teacher to all of his parents, bringing lessons of acceptance, unconditional love, joy and humor during some very difficult times.

Thank you, Riley, for showing us how to appreciate and love our lives, despite our most difficult challenges. You are a true angel to us all! We are going to miss you immensely! Just as you stated through tears after a difficult surgery, “I know you will always be my side!!”

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Nelson Family Mortuary located at 4780 N University Ave in Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held beginning at 11:30 prior to the funeral service. Interment will take place in the Lehi City Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
