Randall Milton Norman

Randall Milton Norman, a dedicated and hardworking husband, father, brother and friend, departed this life on November 8th, 2023, at his Washington, Utah home, surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones. He was 70 years old. Born in Brigham City, Utah, on March 28th, 1953, to Milton Henry and Ann Wood Norman.

Randall's early years were spent in the embrace of Corinne, Utah. It was there, on the family farm alongside his father, Milton, that he cultivated values of hard work and resilience. Randall's robust work ethic and an extraordinary ability to mend or construct anything earned him a reputation as a reliable and resourceful figure within his community. As the eldest among seven siblings, Randall assumed the role of a nurturing big brother, offering guidance and steadfast support. His dedication to family values stood as a testament to the strength of his character.

Following a mission to South Africa for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Randall's life underwent a profound transformation. It was upon his return he encountered Penny Jean Wyatt, the love of his life and eternal companion. United and sealed for time and all eternity on January 10th, 1975, in the Logan Temple, Randall and Penny embarked on a journey marked by love and shared commitment, blessed with the joy of raising five children – three boys and two girls. Driven by a deep commitment to provide for his family, Randall returned to college, earning his X-ray technician degree from Weber State College. His illustrious 28-year career in the medical field saw him tirelessly serve as an CT technician, leaving an enduring impact on colleagues and patients alike.

In the year 2000, Randall and Penny relocated with their two youngest children to St. George. This move allowed them to immerse themselves in the scenic wonders of Southern Utah. True nature enthusiasts at heart, they coordinated countless family adventures, from camping and skiing to snowmobiling and side-by-siding, leaving a lasting mark of their profound love for the outdoors.

A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Randall lived his life as a shining example of faith and devotion. His unwavering love for the Savior, Jesus Christ, manifested in his everyday actions, and he never swayed from the teachings of his brother and Savior. Randall's appreciation for his pioneer heritage, coupled with a profound understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, formed the bedrock of his spiritual convictions. His deep and unshakable knowledge of the eternal nature of family bonds and our divine relationship with God guided his path. Randall's legacy will endure through the memories of those who knew him—a man of unyielding faith, boundless love, and an enduring commitment to family.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of the eternal landscapes he so dearly cherished. Randall is preceded in death by his parent's Milton Henry Norman and Ann Wood Norman. Brother-in-law Damon Marsh. He is survived by his wife Penny Jean Wyatt Norman. Five children R. Quinn (Crystal) Norman, Cory Norman, (Scott) Camille Richins, Jonathan (Cami) Norman, and (Jake) Janelle Fullmer. Along with sixteen grand-children and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South St. George, Utah 84790. A memorial service to celebrate Randall's life will be held on November 17th, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel 115 West 2000 South Washington, Utah 84780. There will not be a public viewing. The public is welcome to meet with family from 9 to 10 and services will start at 11am. Interment will take place following the services in the Washington City Cemetery.
