Parley Joseph Harker

Parley Joseph Harker III passed away on June 24, 2021 at 1:50 am in the morning, following a serious accident. Parley was born on August 18, 1998 in Hildale, UT to Marie Musser and David J. Harker.

Parley was a strong, happy individual, and a natural leader from birth. He loved life and lived it to it’s fullest. At a young age Parley took on great responsibility, working in his uncle’s business BZI. As the business grew, so did Parley’s leadership skills. By age 22, he was found as the regional manager for the West Coast. Parley touched the lives of hundreds. Parley did not look at someone’s name or appearance, if you could work you were on his team. He had a natural care for everyone. He required a lot of others but mostly of himself. 

The truth of lives touched by Parley were manifested at the time of his accident with hundreds of people coming to the St. George hospital. Many friends waited hours in the sun and heat outside the hospital doors for the opportunity to have just a few minutes with him.

Parley is survived by his father David Harker of Newcastle, UT, his mother, Marie Musser of Cedar City, UT, his brothers Jakob Makay Harker and Terrill Smith Harker, both of Cedar City, UT.  Also, by hosts of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be on June 26th with a viewing beginning at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with the funeral services following.  This will be at the Innovatech Yard Site located on Avon Rd, Cedar City, UT 84721. Interment will take place in the Isaac Carling Memorial cemetery in Colorado City, AZ following the services. There will also be a viewing at this same address on Friday June 25th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
