Pamela Dawn Fowler

Pamela Dawn Fowler, 72 passed away peacefully on March 6, 2019 in the company of her loving family.  Pam was born on November 30, 1946 in Peru, Indiana to Merritt and Opal Applegate.  She met her husband at a Christmas dance at the LDS church while he was stationed at Bunker Hill Air Force Base, located in Indiana.  They were married one year later on December 18, 1965.

Pam loved to read books and studied her scriptures daily.  She enjoyed teaching dances for groups, such as road shows and dance festivals.  She enjoyed toll painting and decorating for every holiday.  Her favorite pastime was bird watching.  Almost daily, Pam would watch outside her window while looking through books (to figure out what kind of birds she was seeing).

Most of all, Pam loved being with her family.  She adored her husband and was a great mom/grandmother to her children and grandkids.

Pam and Cleon served an LDS mission in Nauvoo, Illinois in 2003-2004.

Pam is survived by her husband Cleon Jay Fowler and three children. Tracy (David) Hartley, Todd (Rani) Fowler, and Toni (McLain-Deceased) Miller.  She has 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her son-in-law.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Bloomington LDS Stake Center (Located at 200 West Brigham Road). The viewing will be Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
