Nita Lee Ackerman Eldredge - Our beautiful, kind, caring and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away quietly July 2nd, 2018 in her St George, Utah home. Nita was born in Richfield Utah on June 10, 1934. She was the 1st daughter to Her father Wilford Moroni Ackerman and Mother Amy Marjorie Edwards Ackerman. She married her sweetheart Dale (Ike) Argyle Eldredge on December 11, 1953 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Nita spent her time traveling between her homes in WVC and St George Utah. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Her smile and contagious laugh could light up a room. She loved with her entire heart and soul. She always wanted a hug and gave the warmest wholehearted hugs that radiated the love she felt for you. She hosted many family and friend parties in the backyard swimming pool. This created memories that will last a lifetime for many. Nita loved children, she was always happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
She is survived by her husband Dale (Ike) Argyle Eldredge, They were married for 64 ½ years. She leaves behind one Daughter, Tracie Lee Eldredge Wilkins, and a son, Dale Jay Eldredge and his wife Melody. Several grandchildren, Britney Lee Bowen and her husband Brandon, Jourdan Brooke Pyle and Jenesii Jane Josephine Wilkins. Krystel Kohn (Marc), Candice Daniloff (Brad), Matt Fowler (Devin). Many Great-Grandchildren: Thomas Argyle, Annabelle Lee, Elias Jenkins, Remington James, Weston John-Jay. There are many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own and treated them as though they were. She is also survived by her loving sisters; Marcia Abramowski (Rod), Celia Ann and Ken Payne, Sally Jensen.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son Kenneth Dale Eldredge. We imagine their reunion has been magnificent. Her parents, brothers and sister were at the gates waiting to greet her as well.
Interment will be held at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah on Friday, July 6th @ 11am. Friends and family are welcome to talk about special memories or moments about Nita at this time.
