Mark Edward Bishop

Colorado City, AZ Mark Edward Bishop age 68,passed away March 14, 2022.

He was born November 14, 1953 in Ventura, CA to Virginia Mead Bishop and James Fielding Bishop. He married Leann Darger on April 9,2011.

 

Mark and his twin sister Anne grew up in Southern California. He moved to Oregon in 1977 when he was 24 years old. Mark then started working at Crown Zellerbach in Rainier, OR until the mill closed. He then moved to Longview Washington and went to work at Fibre Paper Company until a back injury forced medical retirement. After retiring he owned several companies including a landscaping company and pawn/second hand store. After he met Leann he moved with her back to her hometown in Arizona.

 

Mark loved being outside whether that meant yard work, rock hunting or fishing. He enjoyed yard sale and secondhand shopping with his wife. Mark was very artistic, making knives, keychains, bone jewelry and many other items.

 

Mark was a very private person but if you got to know him, you knew you loved him. He loved his family with all of his heart and is survived by his wife Leann, daughters Nycki Bishop of Eugene, OR, Shawn Phillips of Longview, WA, Sarah Lomba of Port Orchard, WA, Lisa Worrell (Jered) of Castle Rock, WA, Sophia Denman of Colorado City, AZ and Son Mark F Bishop of Kingman, AZ. He is preceded in death by His Father James Fielding Bishop. Mother Virginia Mead Bishop, and twin sister Anne Bruce. 

 

At Marks request in lieu of a funeral service we will be having a party in his honor. Date and time is to be determined.
