Linda Rose Shurtz Theobald

Linda Rose Shurtz Theobald, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, April 18, 2021.  She was born October 25, 1949 in Butte, MT, to Florence Hazel VanBuren.  She married Eddie Theobald, May 24, 2014 in Hurricane, UT. 

Linda was raised in Mountain View, MO and later graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas, NV in 1966.  She graduated from Dixie College in 1994.  She loved her animals and all animals loved her.  In her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and being a homemaker. 

Linda is survived by her husband Eddie Theobald of Hurricane, UT; daughters, Christina (Jimmy) Baughman of Bullhead City, AZ, Merinda (Nicholas) Pickett of La Verkin, UT, Heather Theobald of Troutdale, OR and son Morgan (Lexi Lambeth) Theobald of Hurricane, UT.  She also leaves behind grandchildren, Britton Kelker, Cameron Black, Kaden Black, Braxton Pickett, Aspyn Pickett, Kolson Pickett, Paytyn Pickett, Lylah Theobald, and Maisy Theobald. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Hazel VanBuren Richardson, four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be a small graveside service for immediate family only on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the St. George City Cemetery.  A celebration of life reception for friends and family will be held Thursday evening, April 22, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Shangri-La Event Center, 1700 Shangri-La Rd, Toquerville, UT 84774.
