Lavon Fullmer 91, passed away peacefully May 2, 2015 in St. George, Utah. She was born March, 10, 1924 in Kanab, Utah to Archibald Smith Reynolds and Le Nora Paramore. LaVon grew up in Springville, Utah and graduated from Springville Seminary and High School in 1943. During World War II, she worked at the Remington Arms Plant in Salt Lake City, Utah. After the war, she worked for Springville Dry Cleaners and Schouter Bakery. On October 15, 1946, she married Mack Arden Jacobson. They had three children: Steven Arden, Joan and Dennis Terry Jacobson. Mack died January 16, 1983. She then married Allan Lee Fullmer November 1, 1983. They were sealed in the Provo, Utah LDS Temple on December 16, 1988. He died on March 20, 2003. LaVon spent much of her time raising her family in Orem, Utah. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and attending Orem Women’s Club. LaVon was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Burbank, son Dennis Terry Jacobson and great-granddaughter Kaylee Sue Haslam. She is survived by son, Steven (Trina) Jacobson Idaho Falls, Idaho and Joan Haslem St. George, Utah She had three grandchildren: J. Kevan and Gregory Haslam and Natalie Meyers and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held May 6, 2015 at Provo City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Intermountain Medical Healthcare hospital 3 west floor in St. George, Utah for the gentle loving care rendered in her behalf.
