Lauryn Marie Shannon

Lauryn Marie Shannon, Hurricane Utah, passed away on April 3, 2017.  She was born in St. George, Utah to James P. and Theresa L. Shannon on November 9, 1992.  She was raised and attended school in Utah and Nevada, living in St. George, La Verkin, and Hurricane, Utah as well as Hawthorne and Logandale, Nevada. 

Lauryn loved all kinds of animals.  Cats, dogs and horses, which she loved to ride.  She also loved to collect stuffed animals.  She traveled to Michigan on Summer Vacations and spent some time in New York and would travel to California to visit her dad and ride horses.  She was a licensed CNA.

Lauryn is survived by her parents and a brother, Sean Patrick Shannon, half brothers, Andrew Bailey, James Bailey, James L. Shannon, Joseph L. Shannon, and Stanley P. Shannon.  She was preceded in death by a half sister, Melinda L. Shannon, and a half brother, Michael J. Bailey.

Services for Lauryn will be held on Saturday, April 8th 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with a viewing prior to services starting at 9 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 912  South 1740 East, St. George, Utah.  (Foremaster Ridge Chapel).  Interment will follow in the Ivins City Cemetery.
