Khalil Foster

Khalil Ashad Foster, 23, passed away by accidental causes Tuesday December 5, 2017 in St George, UT. Khalil was born July 8, 1994 in Billings, MT to Clarence Foster and Kelly Lanter.

   Khalil was blessed with many talents when he was born into this world. At the age of 7 he was learning how to Wing Tsun, while leading his little league football team to many victories.  He continued to play football throughout the years he went to school.  Khalil excelled in football to such an extent that he played the positions of running back, linebacker, punter, kicker and at times quarterback.

     After Graduating High School he was an apprentice in boat rigging.  The work consisted of installing diesel or gas engines, all related electrical wiring, along with some aluminum welding and fabrication work.

     Khalil was gearing up to go through a Diesel Technology Program.  He actually had just been accepted to the program and scheduled to start school in January 2018.  With his hard work and natural abilities he would have done great.

     Throughout Khalil’s life he wrote music and aspired to be a musician.  Before his journey came to an end, his main focus was being the best man he could for his girlfriend, Eryn and her daughter, Skyla.  He loved to volunteer at any and all of Skyla’s school activities. On his last day with Eryn and Skyla he read to Skyla for hours and all three of them baked Christmas cookies.

     Khalil was loved by many friends and family.  He will be missed greatly by all.  Khalil is survived by his mother Kelly Lanter and father Clarence Foster; siblings Ashaylah Ponce, Clarence Foster Jr, Latasha Collar, Azalyn Foster-Croft, Ayanna Foster-Croft, Xavier Cameron, Aisha Kolbeck, Jeremiah Kolbeck and Isaiah Foster; grandmother Linda Yuzeitis and Rosetta Williams; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E 700 S in St George, UT.
