Keith Bozeman, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, at St. George Regional Hospital in Utah, after a courageous battle with cancer. Keith faced his illness with unwavering strength, resilience, and dignity, inspiring all who knew him during these difficult months.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, and his beloved wife, Judy. He is survived by his stepson, Nicholas Brigman and wife Karen, his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Born on November 19, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, to his loving parents, Marguerite of Missouri and Keith Sr. of Alabama, Keith’s life was a colorful mix of experiences filled with adventure and hard work. During the 1960s and early 1970s, he lived a vibrant and dynamic life, exploring opportunities across the United States.
Keith spent his formative years in the greater Los Angeles area, vividly recounting stories of the San Fernando Valley's early days that few could imagine. His professional journey was equally remarkable, spanning roles as a baker, truck driver for a van line, and machinist. Keith’s craftsmanship was unmatched, with his work on custom vehicles for drag racing and the film industry earning the admiration of LA’s aerospace industry. His final career was with Lockheed working on things he could not talk about as a machinist before retiring in the early 2000s and eventually settling in St. George, Utah.
In his 30s, Keith met Judy through his childhood best friend, who had employed her son. From the moment they met, Keith and Judy were inseparable, building a love story grounded in trust, patience, and friendship. The couple agreed to marry only if their bond lasted ten years—and they did, tying the knot on November 25, 1987, in Fremont, California. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, lasting until Judy’s passing in March 2024.
Keith and Judy made their home in Sun River, where they were cherished by neighbors and friends. Their commitment to their community and country was evident through their work with the Republican Party and the St. George City Council, striving to create positive change and better their surroundings.
Keith will be remembered for his steadfast spirit, quiet encouragement, and unwavering support of those around him. Despite his health challenges in recent years, he displayed remarkable resilience and found strength in prayer and perseverance. His kindness, generosity, and love leave an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends.
A private service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to a charity of your choice in Keith’s memory, celebrating his quiet strength and enduring spirit.
May Keith rest in peace, reunited with his beloved bride and his Savior, Jesus Christ.
