Jeffrey Glines

Jeffrey Glines, loving Father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly at the age of 59 at the St. George Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Jeff was born on December 30, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David Williams Glines and Dovie Glynn Berry Glines. He received his high school diploma from Spanish Fork High School. He also attended Mountain States Technical college in Arizona receiving an Associates: Computer Science Major Business Administration/Management Minor.  Over the years he was most proud of his time working for Quimby in Oregon as a Warehouse Inventory Specialist and later on working in the Oil fields alongside of his brothers.  Jeff was a hard worker and enjoyed helping his family and friends. He was known for his intelligence and sense of humor; Jeff was a well-read scholar. His love for reading started at a very young age. He literally read everything he could get his hands on. Jeff was a walking encyclopedia to many of us. He loved playing Golf, Pool, glass blowing, building computers and working on anything electronic. He enjoyed his friendships from many walks of life.  Jeff was an exemplary example of going through hard times without ever complaining.  He had many small victories throughout his life that not everyone was able to see. Jeff was a very humble man. His sensitivity radiated with such genuine love that he was not afraid to show. He was a great listener and did so with an open heart. The combination of Jeff's sarcastic wit delivered by his intelligence will be memorable.    Jeff leaves us with heavy hearts that will be hard to mend and yet... We will see him in the faces of his children and grandchildren. We will remember the things that he taught us (the easy way or the hard way). lol

He was preceded in death by his mother Dovie Glynn Berry Glines and his daughter Brittny Rianne Glines.

He is survived by his father, David Williams Glines. Son Dustin Jay Glines, a daughter Kellye Nicole Glines, three grandchildren Nichele, Maryssa and Vincent which he cherished very much.  He had many Nieces and Nephews that he enjoyed spending time with.  His siblings Susan (Mike) Olsen, Stephen (Becky) Glines, Julia (Jules) Erickson and Jim Glines.  We would like give our deepest heartfelt appreciation to Susan Frighner. The loving help and day to day dedication that you have given our brother, made a big difference in his life. We can never truly show our gratitude. Thank you.
