Jaimie Jay Swick

Jaimie Jay Swick, age 53 of Rochester, Minnesota died suddenly on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 in Hurricaine, Utah.  He was born March 1st 1967 In Waterloo, Iowa, the eldest of five sons to James Jay & Margaret Anne (Swick) Murphy.  He married Christine Ellen Tebbe on August 18th, 2007 in Alanson, Michigan.

Jaimie is survived by the absolute love of his live Christine Swick of Rochester, Minnesota, and children Margaret Tebbe, William, Rebecca, Elise & Josie Swick. His mother Margaret Anne Murphy (Ron) of Chico California, brothers Schon (Kerry) Swick of River Falls, WI,  Jason (Karin) of Bloomington, MN,  Robin Swick of Brooklyn Park, MN & Jordan Swick of Chico California.

Jaimie lived in many different locations including Marquette, MI, a place that gave him a lasting love for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.   Jaimie held many jobs including working as a supervisor for UPS, a plumber in the UP and his final career as a Low Voltage Electrician.  He demonstrated a strong work ethic to everyone who knew him.

Jaime loved to create memories for his family with games, adventures and going on road trips.  He was known for his infectious smile, laughter and positive outlook on life.   He was a devoted husband and father and a blessing to everyone who knew him.  He loved to minister to kids in the neighborhood and was always the first to lend a hand for a friend.

Jaimie was preceded in death by his father James Jay Swick in August of 2018. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family and friends.  He will be missed by everyone who had the honor to know him. 

Funeral services will be held in Minnesota, date and time are still pending.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Hugues Mortuary, St. George Utah.

Services will be held Saturday, June 13th - 10:30 a.m.
