Gregory Paul Cummings

Gregory Paul Cummings,60 of Littlefield, Arizona/ Salmon, Idaho passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Greg was born November 29, 1961 in Salmon, Idaho to Lewis Dale Cummings and Dora Gail Eldredge Cummings. He married Trisa Joy Tolman on November 26, 1983 in Salmon, Idaho. They were sealed for time and all eternity in Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple April 5,1985.

Greg was born and raised in Salmon, Idaho. He received an associates degree from Idaho State University in auto body repair. He enjoyed his careers as maintenance engineer and autobody repair man. Greg enjoyed adventure and lived in multiple places in his lifetime. His main residences were in Salmon, Idaho, St. George, Utah, Bunkerville, Nevada and Littlefield, Arizona. Greg enjoyed classic cars, building RC planes, camping, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, restoring cars, playing the guitar, old western movies (especially John Wayne) and he always enjoyed socializing with friends and family. 

He is survived by his wife and eternal companion, Trisa Joy Tolman Cummings. Their children, Savanna Gonzales (Brian) of Littlefield, Arizona, Danielle (Tyler) Richardson of Chubbuck, Idaho, Hershell (Erica) Cummings of Chubbuck, Idaho,  grandchildren Caysen Cummings, DJ Gonzales, Emma Gonzales, Maverick Richardson, Kye Cummings, Lincoln Richardson and Rock Cummings. His siblings, Beverly Transue of Stanfield, Oregon, Terry (Helen) Cummings of Moscow, Idaho, Debbie Phillips of Kamiah, Idaho, Dale Cummings of Salmon, Idaho, Rosina Miller of Aurora, Colorado and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Dora Cummings, His brother, Hershel Cummings, Brother-in-law Albert Phillips, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members. 

Viewings will be held Thursday June 2, 2022 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm Hughes Mortuary 1037 E. 700 S. St. George, Utah and Saturday June 4, 2022 at 11am to 12pm Honeyville Church House 2620 W 6980 N, Honeyville, UT.

Graveside service Saturday June 4, 2022 12pm at the Honeyville Cemetery W 6900 N Honeyville, Utah. Please bring your own lawn chairs. After service, return to the church house for sharing memories.

We invite you to a memorial celebration for Greg Cummings Saturday, July 2nd. Meet for car cruise 1pm Church of Jesus Christ parking lot 400 Daisy Street Salmon, Idaho. 1:30pm return to church cultural hall for lunch. Chicken salad sandwiches provided. Bring your memories and, a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
