Gloria Jean Maycock

November 17, 1953 — December 6, 2020

Gloria Jean Maycock

Our beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother Gloria Jean Maycock gained her angel wings and returned home to our heavenly father on December 6, 2020 at the early age of 67. Gloria was born in Cedar City Utah to Frank and Phyllis Myers on November 17th 1953. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1972. She then went on to marry her highschool sweetheart, the love of her life, Craig Maycock from Fillmore, Utah on June 23rd 1972. Ten years later Craig and Gloria took their children and were sealed for time and eternity in the Jordan Temple.
Throughout her life journey, she lived in Rock Springs Wyoming, Pocatello Idaho and eventually back to her hometown of Beaver and touched many lives along the way. Gloria was passionate and caring, always willing to take care of others. She ran a successful daycare in her home while living in Rock Springs so that she could be at home and care for her five children. As her children got older, she decided to explore the working world. She worked in banking, caregiving, and with the school district in head start. She then found her passion working in long term care where she held her CNA before receiving her administrators license. She proudly took over management in a long term care in Pocatello Idaho. She had so many talents and hobbies from baking, making candies, bottling, crafting, as well as service acts for others. Gloria truly had a heart of gold, her smile was contagious and she warmed the hearts of many. To know her was to love her. After Gloria retired, her work was not done, it had only just begun.

She spent her days working side by side with her best friend and love of her life, Craig. They were inseparable. Gloria loved her family and made sure each and every holiday was extra special. Both her and Craig were so proud of their big, beautiful family. They spent their time cutting wood, gardening, house projects, and caring for their grandchildren. They had a love that is so strong and special. They loved each other and their family more than anything. They are very proud of their accomplishments and knowing they have sealed their family for all time and eternity. Gloria is survived by her husband, Craig Maycock of Beaver Utah, her five children, Amber (Mike) Soliday of Castle Rock, Colorado, Trin (Tanya) Maycock of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Desera (Dave) Caswell of Riverton, Wyoming, Cherish (Gabe) Chadburn of Minersville, Utah, Jessica Maycock of Pocotello, Idaho, 19 grandkids and 8 great grandkids, her brothers Cliff (Janice), and Al (Shannon) Myers. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Phyllis Myers, her inlaws, Desma and Lavoy Maycock, her grandparents, her great granddaughter (Kinzleigh Conn) and her sister in law/ best friend (Susie Maycock).
