Glenn Thomson Rodeback

May 29, 1934 — January 6, 2025

St. George, UT

Glenn Thomson (Tom) Rodeback passed away on January 6, 2025. Tom was born in 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles James Rodeback and Christine Bernice Hutchison. He was a faithful lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tom served his first mission in the California Mission from 1956 to 1958. In 1958, he married Margaret (Marge) Anne Ralston in the newly dedicated Los Angeles Temple. Tom and Marge grew up near each other and were childhood friends before falling in love as adults. They were blessed with three children: Teri Ilene Fry, Aaron Thomson Rodeback, and Tammy May Rodeback. Marge passed away in 1983 after a ten-year battle with cancer.

In 1985, Tom married Connie Lynn Carter, expanding his family with four more children. Tom cherished his work as a cadastral mapper in the Utah County Recorder's Office and continued working there until his retirement in 1994. Tom and Connie embarked on the first of three additional missions in 1994, serving in Atlanta, Georgia. They later served missions in St. George, Utah, and Nauvoo, Illinois. Between their missions, they dedicated their time as temple workers.

Tom was known for his ingenuity in solving problems and his skill in repairing appliances and cars. His generous nature and willingness to help others meant he spent countless hours in homes and driveways, fixing cars, washing machines, dryers, and various other items for anyone in need.

Tom is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter Teri Fry; son Rick Rodeback (Lloyd Cowan); daughter Pam Oliveira (Moises Oliveira); son Brian Rodeback; daughter Tammy Rodeback (Kim Hill); son Russel Rodeback (Karen Rodeback); as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ralston; son Aaron Rodeback; son-in-law Lyle Fry; daughter-in-law Michelle Rodeback; and grandson Zachary Oliveira.
