Gene Raymond Pace, 67, of Washington, Utah, born 1/13/1955, passed away 11/7/2022 with his wife Lori and daughter Jodi by his side, in the home that he loved. Gene was born in Cortez, Colorado to Gene Pace and Gloria Poloni. Gene married Debra Winters in1974, had a son Jason, and were later divorced in 1977. Gene married Lori Ann Stephens Dudley on 9-2-79 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gene grew up in Price, Utah.
After high school Gene went to Arizona Automotive Academy Trade School in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a master mechanic, who worked for several car dealerships over the years. Gene then started his own garage and worked for himself until 2011. Gene worked part time at Home Depot in Washington Utah until he retired in June of 2019. Gene loved his family, friends, golf, computer games, barbequing, beer and all animals. Gene was gruff, smart, and funny. He was a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife: Lori, of 43 years, his son: Jason Winters (Ashley) of Glendale, AZ, daughter: Jodi Meehan (Derrick) of Washington, UT, granddaughter: Shilo Cannon (Dani) of St. George, UT, granddaughter: Aubree Grant of Syracuse, UT, and grandson: Jaron Winters of Glendale, AZ. He is preceded in death by his first wife Debra, and both his parents Gene and Gloria.
Per Gene's request, there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held, date unknown at this time.
