Eunice Bemis Hydeman

Eunice Bemis Hydeman passed away peacefully at the age of 96. She was the daughter of Odes David Bemis and Verda Pearl Johnson in Arcadia Utah on August 27, 1926. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Hal Odes Bemis, her son, David Bell and her daughter Vicky Lynn Calegory. 

She is survived by her daughter Faith Bain (Don) and her sons Tom Calegory (Deborah) and Jeffrey Calegory (Patricia). She has 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Eunice was devoted to her family and friends. She loved having parties and social gatherings. She traveled the world with dear friends and loved to share her adventures. Her positivity and humor was an inspiration to all that knew her. 

Eunice was a devoted member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and had a deep love for her Savior. She served in the St. George Temple for ten years and fulfilled numerous callings in the Relief Society and Young Women.

She was an avid reader, loved gardening, golf in her younger days and playing cards into the late night will be a fond memory of those close to her. She was greatly loved and her memory will live on in all our hearts.

Viewings will be held Thursday, April 6th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Hughes Mortuary. A 2nd viewing will be held Friday, April 7th from 1:00 – 2:00pm at the Larkin Sunset Lawn. This will be followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm.
