Ellouise Dunnigan

Ellouise Dunigan St.George, Utah age 75 passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born October 10, 1946 in Bodeway, Arizona to Bruce Saganitso and Sally Acothley Saganitso.

Ellouise married Leslie Van Dunigan on June 9, 1989 and they were Sealed in the St.George Temple on Janurary 11, 1991.

Ellouise Dunigan went to school in Arizona. She did go to college for a few years in Ephriam, Utah at Snow College. All this while raising 4 kids and working at various jobs to support her family. She met her current husband in Ephriam and they remained in Ephriam a few more years and eventually moved to Tuba City, Arizona to be closer to her family. After a few years, they decided to move back to Utah and chose St.George. They have lived there since 1986. She loved to be of service to others. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in various callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was currently working at Pineview Middle School in food service where she loved working amongst her co-workers but found her greatest joy serving the youth.

She loved to be of service to others. She could often be found making her delicious Navajo tacos/frybread and having a yard sale for extra income. She was only a phone call away if you needed her. She blessed the lives of those who knew her and met her.
She is survived by her husband Leslie Van, 5 children - 3 daughters and their spouses (Sheila, Valerie & Edward, Priscilla & Maurice) and 2 sons (Duane and Marco). 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, 4 sisters who all live in Arizona. Preceded in death by her father, mother, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 27, 2021 with a viewing at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am located at 3040 Santa Clara Drive (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel) in Santa Clara, Utah.
