Ella Marie Dolan

Washington, Utah – Ella Marie Dolan, 84, returned to the loving arms of her Savior and her parents, Frederick and Ella Loeper, on Monday, February 22, 2016.

            She was born March 29, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA where she spent her early years. As a single mother of 4 she embraced her adopted homes in Utah-both in SLC and Washington.  Our mom had a unique ability to touch people’s lives of all ages whether in her service as a member of the LDS Church or through her employment at Robinson’s Medical Mart.

            She found her joy in her beloved family, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and traveling whenever she could.  She had an adventurous soul and a beautiful sense of humor. Her family and friends found a lot of joy in her talents of cooking and baking, her gift of listening, and unconditional love and forgiveness.

            She is survived by her children, Bob, Salt Lake City; Bruce, Hurricane; Nancy, Washington; Sean (Candise), Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many family members of the heart.  She is preceded in death by Gage Michael, a great-grandson.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 27, at the LDS Washington Fields 12th Ward (115 W. 2000 S., Washington City).  Friends may call from 11:30-12:30 prior to services.  Interment will take place in the Washington City Cemetery.  All arrangements are made under the care of Hughes Mortuary 435-674-5000.  Please visit www.hughesmortuary.com for complete service listing and to leave condolences.
