Delphina Jean Edmo

        Delphina Jean Edmo age 52 born in Roosevelt, UT  July 15th, 1965. Passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28th, 2017 in her home in Cedar City UT. Delphina was born to Nola Jean Zuniga and Harold Edgar Edmo. Delphina lived in Salt Lake City, UT, before settling in Cedar City UT. Delphina was a joyful baby and spent her childhood growing up in Randlett UT and other parts of the Uintah basin.

 Delphina attended the Hollywood Beauty college in Salt Lake City UT where she graduated to become a hairstylist. Delphina will be remembered by being a unique woman who was a free spirit always walking to the beat of her own drum. Delphina Loved to dance and listen to music her favorite things were sterling silver jewelry, dressing up and laughing. She never accepted the word can’t and always believed if there was a will there was a way. One of her mottos was POWER TO THE RED WOMEN!

 She was also very proud of her Ute, Shoshone and Southern Paiute heritage. She took great pride in her daughter Autumn and loved her mother Nola deeply. Delphina’s native spiritual beliefs and LDS faith was of great importance to her. She will be deeply missed by many friends and family near and far. Survivors include her Mother Nola Jean Zuniga and Daughter Autumn Avi'Elle Gillard she was preceded in death by her father Harold Edgar Edmo of the Shoshone Bannock tribe of Fort Hall Idaho Services will be held in Cedar City UT at the Iron Mission Branch at 12pm.
