Craig Warde Taylor

Washington, UT - Craig Taylor, 39, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 19, 1980 in Cedar City, UT to Lynn and Sam Taylor.  He graduated from Canyon View High School in 1999 in Cedar City, UT. He married Krista Sudweeks on June 14, 2005 in Maui, HI.  He is the owner and operator of CT Automotive and CT Racing (CTR).

Craig was a mechanical genius and started CT Auto in March 2010. He was born and raised a Chevy lover and he pursued specialized automotive training and certification throughout his life. He loved blowing things up, setting things on fire, making fun of his friends as well as racing, burnouts, and “merry-go-rounds.”  A good friend Brandon Armstrong said it best: “When the thunder starts rocking the clouds...you know it’s Craig giving it the onion down the ¼ mile...or playing crash up derby!!”

Craig was a man who could relate to anyone. He had an amazing ability to remember the names and faces of everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel at ease, and they truly knew they were meeting an honest and sincere man.

He is survived by his wife, Krista, children, Kashton, Kayzee, Lyndee, Jaxcee, and CT Auto.  He is also survived by his parents, Lynn and Sam; his siblings Forrest & Emily, Sara & Mike Cook, Preston & Mindy, Cameron & Cassandra, and Holly & Cason Adams; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Friends and customers are invited to a viewing on Saturday, September, 2020, 10 A.M. at Hughes Mortuary  1037 East 700 South in St. George, UT.  The memorial service will begin at 11 A.M. Start your engines! Burnout to follow.  Come as you are (casual dress).  Internment will take place in Enoch Cemetery.
