St. George, UT- Cliff Thomas Turner age 38 passed away on Sunday October 23rd, 2022. He was born on March 21, 1984 in Macon, GA to John Turner and Sandra Jones Hall. Cliff married Tabitha Turner on November 21, 2003 in Hamilton, AL.
Cliff was raised in various locations across the United States as his father worked in the military as an aircraft engineer, and the family moved often. Cliff's family settled in Hamilton, AL in 1997, where he finished school and graduated from Hamilton High School in 2002. Cliff and his wife were high school sweethearts. They have been married for 19 years. Cliff was a devoted, loving husband, and amazing father to 2 beautiful daughters, Madison, 17 and Sadie, 12. The family moved from Hamilton, AL to Tuscaloosa, AL in 2005. Cliff worked various jobs, as a welder for 2 years at Waverly Homes in Hamilton, and had over 14 years in the automotive industry. Cliff started his own successful Quality Control business, Turner Automotive Group, for Mercedes-Benz US international in Tuscaloosa, AL in 2011. He owned/operated the business for 7 years. He and his family decided to sell their home in 2019 and travel the country. They visited 19 states over the course of several months before settling in St. George Utah in 2020 and have remained since. Cliff not only was an incredible father and husband, but also a talented musician and guitarist. He loved listening to music as well as creating it. Cliff was deeply interested in studying philosophy, and spirituality, and discussing life's truths and mysteries with others. He enjoyed collecting fine minerals and crystals from all over the world. He loved being outdoors, exploring, camping, hiking, riding ATVs, and appreciated really good food. Cliff was also a dedicated sports fan, with a love for college and NFL football, his favorite team being Alabama University's Crimson Tide. He was kind, thoughtful, genuine, smart, and never met a stranger. He was blessed with many friends and family who he cherished greatly. Cliff lived each day with gratitude, love, and a true passion for life.
Cliff is survived by wife Tabitha Turner, children Madison Turner, and Sadie Turner in St. George, UT; father, John Turner, St. Charles, MI; brother Dustin Turner, Georgetown, TX; brother Joseph Hall, Birmingham, AL. Cliff was a uncle to 2 neices and 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by Sandra Jones Hall.
Funeral services will held on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E 700 S, St. George, UT (435) 674-5000.
