Casey Jay Ovard

Casey Jay Ovard passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in the early morning of Saturday, June 15th, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife, Carrie Ovard, and his devoted mother, Vicki Hall. Born on August 14th, 1975, in Logan, Utah, Casey was 48 years old, and he was the beloved son of Vicki Hall and Dwane Ovard.

Casey is survived by his father, Dwane Ovard, and stepmother, Liz; his mother, Vicki Hall, and stepfather, Parley. Casey grew up in St. George, Utah, and graduated from Pine View High School in 1993. An avid sports enthusiast, he spent his youth playing baseball and later trained as a pilot, combining his continued love for sports and flying.

Casey's legacy lives on through his cherished family. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Lynn Ovard, and his stepchildren: Karli King, Kelsi Lindberg, and Kaden Lindberg. He is also remembered by his former wife, Sascha Draper, and his children: Aspyn Ovard, Trey Ovard, Avrey Ovard, and Tavyn Ovard. His grandchildren, Cove Ferris, Lola Ferris, and Elle Ferris, along with his step-grandchildren, Greyson Ochoa-King, Harper King, and Lynden Braun. His brother Wade Ovard and wife Heather, brother Mike Ovard and wife Angela, sister Amy McAllister and husband Chad and numerous nieces and nephews, will forever hold his memory in their hearts. 

As a master electrician and successful electrical contractor, Casey dedicated his career to his thriving business in Southern Utah, Team Electrical Contracting. His professional achievements were only matched by his determined personality. Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Casey had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter to any room.

Casey joins in the spirit his brother, Brad Ovard, stepfather, Vic Condie, and cousin Summer Dutson. His presence in our lives was a gift, and his memory will continue to encourage and uplift us. Casey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His humor, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered always.
