Cameron Esplin, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2024, at the age of 42. Born to Tyler Esplin and Ilene Hunt in April 1982, Cameron’s life was one filled with love, adventure, and a deep devotion to his family.
On May 17, 2008, Cameron married the love of his life, Lyndsie Shae Esplin. Together, they shared countless memories until her passing December 15, 2018. Cameron was a proud and devoted father to their three children: Ava Shae, Spencer Swede, and Sawyer Alfred Esplin, who were the light of his life.
Cameron was preceded in death by his wife Lyndsie, as well as his cherished grandparents. He is survived by his loving parents, Tyler (Patti) Esplin and Ilene Hunt; his siblings, Douglas Pexton, Burgen Zohner, Brittney Hampy, Nicole Read, Ron Esplin, and Rylee Esplin; as well as a large extended family and a wide circle of friends who will forever remember his kindness, sense of humor, and love of life.
Growing up in St. George, Utah, Cameron developed a passion for the outdoors, and he instilled that same love for adventure in his children. Whether hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Cameron found joy in every moment he spent with those he loved.
Cameron’s legacy will live on through his children, who will carry forward his spirit of adventure, his love for the outdoors, and the unwavering dedication he showed as a father. His family and friends will forever cherish the time they had with him and find comfort in the memories they shared.
A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held Saturday, January 4th at 11:30 AM at the LDS Meetinghouse located at 658 W 1500 S, Hurricane, UT. A viewing will take place at 10:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support his children’s future.
Rest in peace, Cameron. You will be dearly missed, and your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
