Barbara Jeanne Milne, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend returned home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age of 60, after a valiant battle with complications from Crohn’s Disease.
Barbara was born to Raymond A and Janet Lynn Green in Glendale, California on January 27, 1962. Barbara was a rough and tumble kid who loved everything from sports, dirt bikes, the outdoors, and doing repairs around the house. She was a tomboy and was often referred to as “the boy her father never had.”
Barbara grew to embody all the characteristics of womanhood. She was beautiful inside and out, and had a radiant smile and a heart of gold. Barbara had a gift for truly connecting with people and making them feel loved and important. She was indeed a light to all who knew her, and she filled her home and the lives of others with love and laughter. Barbara was very particular about her appearance, but once she was ready for the day, her cares and concerns were turned towards others. Although Barbara’s frame was petite, she was mighty in stature. She was hard-working, energetic, and had a true zest for life. She kept a spotless home and loved to cook. She also continued to enjoy her childhood passion of being outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, going for long drives, and metal detecting. Barbara loved her dog Tuff, but most importantly, she loved the Lord and her family more than anything in the world.
Barbara is survived by the love of her life, Kirk Milne (spouse), her parents: Raymond and Janet Green, her siblings: Michele Griffith (Stan) and Pamela Rangel (JC), her children: Royal Cooper (Lacey), Taylor Cooper (Jorden), and Holly Robker (Daniel), her stepchildren: Josh Milne, Jason Milne, Clint Milne (Kristen), and Jenny Milne, and her grandchildren: Jayson, Royal II, Micah, Asher, Ezekiel, Ladd, Brayden, Fallyn, Alec, Grizzly, Nyx, Kailee, Alexia, McKenna, Austin, Chaisey, Kyson, Treyson, Jayleigh, Crew, and Remi, and her dog Tuff.
