Almira S. Malan, aged 85, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at her home in Santa Clara, Utah. Born on April 17, 1939, Mira was known for her kind and loving nature, her beautiful smile and everyone loved to hear her laugh. Mira leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her family. She is survived by her spouse, Delbert Daniel (Dan) Malan; daughters, Melissa (Aaron) Shadowens and Kristin (Kerry) Catt; four grandchildren, Chad (Leslie), Brittney (Chris), Ashley, and Nicole (Jered); and three great-grandchildren Brody, Cali, and Kyler.

Her life was a testament to the love she shared and the lives she touched. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she enjoyed the fellowship of the Relief Society and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Organization.

Mira gave back to her community with many projects and organizations. Most recently she spent her time sewing for the non-profit Days for Girls which contributes to the empowerment of girls globally. Her commitment to service was a vital part of her life, bringing joy not only to those she helped but to herself as well.

 A viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center at 1705 Desert Dawn Drive on Thursday, November 21st from 7:00 to 8:00pm. A family graveside service will be scheduled later.
